From Etawah to Every Kitchen in India

My name is Prabhat Kushwah, and I grew up in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh — a place where dal has always been the heart of every meal. Dal Bhaat is not just a brand name; it is the most honest description of what we eat every day.

Before starting Dal Bhaat, I built my expertise as an Amazon reseller — spending years in the marketplace understanding what customers truly want. And one thing was crystal clear: when it came to pulses, the market was flooded with chemically treated, artificially polished, nutrition-stripped dal.
