Return & Refund Policy
Overview
At Dal Bhaat, we take utmost care in delivering high-quality, natural, and hygienically packed food products. Due to the perishable nature of food items, returns are limited. However, we are committed to resolving genuine concerns promptly and fairly.
Returns Eligibility
We accept returns only under the following conditions:
- Product received is damaged or defective
- Incorrect product has been delivered
- Package is tampered, leaking, or visibly damaged at the time of delivery
Note: An unboxing video may be required as proof for verification.
Return Request Timeline
- Return requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery
- Requests raised after this period may not be accepted
Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of food products, returns will not be accepted in the following cases:
- Product has been opened, used, or consumed
- Change of mind after delivery
- Minor variations in color, size, taste, or texture (natural in organic products)
Refund Policy
- Once your return request is approved, refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days
- The amount will be credited to your original payment method
Replacement Policy
In case of valid issues, we may offer a replacement instead of a refund, subject to product availability.
Cancellation Policy
- Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch
- Once the order is shipped, cancellation is not possible

Consumer Protection
This policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and applicable E-Commerce Rules. Customers are entitled to raise concerns regarding defective, deficient, or misrepresented products within the specified timelines.
Food Safety Disclaimer
All products sold by Dal Bhaat are food items and are handled as per standard hygiene practices. Due to their consumable nature, returns are restricted unless quality issues are proven.
GST & Invoicing
- All prices listed on our website are inclusive of applicable GST, unless stated otherwise
- A valid GST invoice will be provided with every order
- In case of refunds, the applicable GST amount will be adjusted as per Indian tax regulations
Jurisdiction
All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Uttar Pradesh, India.
